Bodog Payout question...

Anyone else having a hard time getting checks from Bodog now? I requested a payout on July 8th, and have yet to even get a tracking number!!

Last e-mail I've received was:

Due to processing restrictions we are no longer available to process payouts through Check by Mail. Due to the amount of payouts that have been converted to the Check by Courier method there has been an unfortunate delay somewhat. Currently the timeframe to receive Check by Courier payouts is now 30 – 40 business days.

Bodog has stood firmly in business for over 10 years providing excellent service and entertainment to our customers. Within these years of operation we are proud to say that we have never missed a single payout.

At this time a tracking number has not yet become available for you to track your payout online. The check has indeed been sent out however, we are currently awaiting for the check processor to provide us with a tracking number. Once we receive that information it will be emailed to you.

We do sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused and are trying our best to have your funds sent to you.

Getting a payout was always a hassle for the first time now we gotta wait a long time to receive it. They did say like six months ago that check by courier is the fastest and most efficient way.

That's weird, because I've cashed out plenty of times and have never had to wait this long. It's kinda scaring me...

welcome to the club. i too have been waiting since july. ialso have a payout request in august. there are other threads here where people are complaining about bdog. it appears that every one is getting paid but..... the wait is about 60 (yes i said 60) business (yes isaid business) days. 75 calendar days approx.

Do you have an update on my check?

And what does "we are no longer available to process payouts through Check by Mail" mean? Why do you still have that as an option if you are no longer able to process checks via mail?

What is the fastest way to get my money? Because I will be cashing out 100% of my money from this site. Even if takes 8 months. I'd be happier on another site.

Please dont respond with your "Although an apology wont resolve your current payout issue, we want to assure you" BS either. Just answer the questions.

i don't know what happened to the payouts at bodog. i used to use rapid transfer and get cash in hand in 24 hours. then they did away with that. so then i used western union and that was almost as fast. then they did away with that also. now ...unless you want to pay a sizeable fee to use western union, you have to wait 40 business days. total bullsh*t. but i guess if i can get in the once a month groove it will catch up to what i was doing before. still pretty ridiculous to have wait that long for a few hundred bux.

Beermoney, what happened with your check from Bodog? Did you finally receive it?

In August I requested a check from Bodog, and it took 57 calendar days to receive.
They included an extra $0.17 for taking so long or whatever with the check.

I agree with you, donkey, that it's total BS!! There is no excuse for a check taking almost 2 months to receive....WTF!!! They take your money right quick enough!

It only took 8 days to receive a requested check from Full Tilt. Nice and easy.

Although, Bodog does have the BEST customer service toll free by phone of any other poker site I have dealt with. And by BEST I mean that they actually answer the phone and will talk with you. Whether anything gets resolved is another matter.... LOL

From what i understand, ever since internet gambling became illegal in the united states, bodog no longer pays to us customers. I'm not sure if this is a rumor or not but from what it sounds like they are just going to keep stalling and you may never get your money. I don't see how they could get in trouble, if it is illegal anyway it would be like calling the cops when someone breaks in and steals your pot.

internet gambling isnt illegal in the united states though it is banned in some states....it isnt illegal for thw whole country....the UIGEA was passed and is all about the banks and payment methods used.....the poker sites that dont allow US residents have made that choice because of the hassel of doing it....was their choice...they didnt do it because it is illegal.....and bodog is under constant investigation for something....lol....and slow payouts is one of them
