The Bounty on DoylesRoom is not 'free', but if it's your first time playing it and you have the $27.50 in your account to pay the buy-in fee, then after you finish the Bounty you can get a full refund of your buyin fee.
Make sure you find the info. on the Doyles Homepage prior to entering the Bounty so that you'll know what the proper procedure is for getting your refund.
I've been playing on Doyles for close to 18mos. and have never yet played the Bounty, lol. I keep thinking I'll play it 'next' Wednesday and don't want to waste my one freebie shot at it (also cuz I don't plan on losing,... it's foreign for me to lose, lol... unless I get donked - - - btw.. I get donked ALOT
The cash tables on Doyles are quite a bit different from what they were like prior to joining up with Cake Network. Way looser & passive than previously. I actually preferred them more before but if you don't get sucked out on by 2 & 3-outers they can be pretty good (warning, raise up ALOT more than you normally would when wishing to narrow the field preflop... if you don't get any action... oh well. I found that 4 & even 5x raises preflop weren't respected at all.... it's like they ALL want to see the flop and I don't think very many of them are multi-tablers or grinders in the lower buyin levels ie. 10 & 20NL. They mostly seem to be novices & weak players wanting to play some 'home-game-style' poker on their computers).
