Lately I can"t seem to win anymore on Cakepoker.... dont know what it is with that site anymore.. i need some direction...what am i doing wrong there...Is it that i like pie better hmmmmmmmmmmm

Hi playful. I dunno, I made about $500 off of cake months ago when I was winning, cashed it all off, and stopped playing there last January. Since then, I went through a downswing and rarely play there as my BR is low there.

But I go back to that network once in a while as they gotta lotta skins, and us USA folks are limited, and cake network is a major optiion....but they have never updated their software in the last year. And their "late buyin" for an hour for GTD's really pisses me off. Their same old avatars pisses me off.

I , as u know playfull, am a freeroll whore, but even their freeroll structure pisses me off. I have been doing ok with some of the forums that have small buy-ins there, and have built up another $80 or so (across various cake skin sites) since January, but I rarely go there anymore.

I think u might not be winning there, cause u don't like the cake network. Like me, it was fun, but, damn, it is the same as it was a year ago. NO UPDATES.

Of course, I am prejiduced, I love Merge games. give me my emoticons, my personal avatars, my automatic "what is my hand"(wheather I'm in the hand or not). Give me rapidly updated position lists, etc, etc,.......Cake network aint giving me that. So when I play there at cake, I think, I don't like this. That affects how u play.

I dunno about you guys, but I love cake. I love how you can late reg as well. The guarantee tournaments are great with small fields and the gold cards at the ring games rock. It's treated me bad sometimes, but definitely treats me better more. On all sites you have down swings. So you gotta just keep playing and don't let the bad run effect your confidence on that site.

u know what, lately i had some awful luck on cake so i do agree, its been treating me pretty bad... nevertheless, its still my fave site with my biggest br and the most $$ was made there. Been a rough month with the Multi's (some awful beats) but i do manage to pull a few sngs here and therer... enought to usually break even.
Hopefully my bad luck will turn.
