i play the Doyles Bounty Tourney

I play the Doyles Brunson game today and want to share my experience, some times in breaks or when have the time write a little so here it is (probably going to read this in a lot of forums LOL )



I plan to play this one today, already register.

Because is my first time i can get the rebate, so is going to be a freebie for me, don't expect much also, but want to enjoy and have fun playing in this level for one's

No rebuys, no addons, at least i am not behind in that way.

12 min. blinds and 2250 chips to start, so should be interesting.

now i am in 66, not much room left, i limp in with KQ, 2 more players in, flop give me nothing, all check, turn give me a a draw with 10-J on board, need a A or a 9, no danger of flush, every one check.


9 come in river, no flush danger, no pair in board, so have the nuts with 9-10-J-Q-K.

a player bet, i push, 1 fold, 1 call, i double up.

I win the gigantic amount of $38.25

I know, i know, is not gigantic, and not a win but place 47 from 415 players is not that bad, better than Doyles and Caro, and playing in this level was new for me, so, was a Great experience.

if some one never play this i absolutely recommended, it was not that hard like i think going to be, hell, i think our private games are harder :twisted:

And for first time players is free, so come on and try it.

Indeed you can get your money back even if you cash as long as it's the 1st time you played the bounty game. I don't know if Logan knows this but it tells you how to do it on Doyles website.

Congrats Logan. Yeah, u done better than me. I bubbled in that game some months back. But I did have the pleasure of playing on the same table as Hoyt Corkins for an hour at least. He was a bounty that night.

I had around $100 at Doyles then, but needed money so cashed out at all poker rooms. I don't play there much now, but I'm working again, so will probably deposit there soon. You are right, it is a fun game, and a no-brainer to play if you haven't done so yet.

And you are right, the private games here are harder to win, lol

Yep, exactly like pothole say, ended in the cash or not you can apply for your rebate if is your first time bounty, that means that i Win the $38.25 for the prize and also get my $27.50 for the buy-in back, so i get at the end $65.75

It's a great offer, if you don't have a BR there you just deposit $30, play this game, get your buy-in back and if cash something is yours also, i don't think any poker room offer this baby online.

About doyles, i do not have the chance to see him play, never have it in my table, but ahead in the game the player who take him out was sit it to my side and was fun to read all the stuff.

I watched a bit of the game and I enjoyed seeing a familiar player make the $ in a big tourney. I'm gonna do what I can to get there next week. See if a 4Kinger can't take down a pro bounty. I've played it once and managed some how to get 13th. Fun game...

Good job getting ITM. Those games are a blast a few buddies of mine and I use to play them every week and my first one I made it ITM to and yes you still get it back. It was always fun but out of all the times I played I only got to sit with Caro twice and the first time I sat with him I got the hell donked out of me by a one outter right after I sat down. I was pissed lol. Good luck If you play it again. the Itm isn't to hard to do so good shot to make money in it and if you ever win there is a big payday there.
