random or setup
hi
definately random - the radom number generators (RNG)on the big and established sites & networks are audited for randomness by legitimate auditing companies - like the uber accounting firms
Interestingly I had a conversation with one of the managers at one of the biggest sites about the whole RNG and I would say that it confirmed what I have always maintained -
the cards are totally randomly computer generated
which actually is going to be more random than a live dealer shuffling
the important thing to bear in mind is poker is won and lost between players - the house has no real interest in the outcome - they just rake the pot
there and a million and one xyz is rigged posts / theories but trust me the big sites are doing just fine running a straight business and theyre biggest nightmare would be to ever rock the boat and be found to be running rigged -
so they DONT - they have far far more to loose rigging things than they would ever stand to gain
cheers scrawnybob
