Possible big blow to AP & Online Poker in General
Okay, so if any of you haven't heard by now there is pretty big scandal going on right now in the online poker world. Apparently, from what I've gathered, AP's software was hacked and allowing players to see other players hole cards. Apparently someone was data mining on AP and noticed one of the players with an EXTREMELY high win rate. I think they said this player was making money 100x faster than any great player could expect making. This is an example of this players play from a $1k buyin on AP and they are heads up at the end of this major tourney....

So, a guy on another forums who plays on UB (which UB and AP are owned by same people), calls AP VIP support and gets this...
Quote from a poster: "I called the Absolute VIP phone number and asked to speak to any representative. I actually play on UB but the number for their VIP support actually goes to AP VIP. So, I called and spoke with Mario, and started to press him on the issue. He gave me generic responses about security, and wanted to send me an email that talks about how their security works. I told him "I don't need to know how your seurity works to know that someone is able to see other players' hole cards." He said, and I QUOTE: "99.9% of the players cannot see the other players' hole cards." I told him my UB name, and also DOUBLEDRAG's name. He said he would forward this to support and email me the results. So, basically, I hope I get my UB cashout."

"This isn't just going to dissapear. There's a ton of evidence, and even more that hasn't been released yet in the mod forum. I guarantee that if absolute blows this off and does not refund anyone at all, everything will come out at once in spectacular fashion.
Absolute is wrong if they don't think that improper handling of this situation will result in anything less than a media and financial disaster for them. I would not be totally surprised to see a lawsuit, depending on how big this gets.
This is certainly bad for online poker.
