I played in The Ferguson on Full Tilt today and won $4.13 for 13th place.
The game this time was razz limit, with 435 entrants registered, and as always a $1.00 entry fee.
I know it's not a huge win, but I am happy with it nonetheless. Cheers!

Cool.. very nice. Way to go!!
I play a bunch of tourneys where it's not necessarily about the size of the payout so much as the desire to win the competition (hence playing in priv. forum micro buyins quite a bit).
I too have cashed in the Ferguson a bunch of times with my best finish being my very first evening playing online poker (2nd in NLHE for $114). Needless to say I was hooked, lol.
I used to play in that tourney a couple/few times a week as it afforded me an oppurtunity to see alot of hands and to get accustomed to the blind structures and how larger field tourneys play out, all at minimal risk to my puney poker bankroll.
Good Luck in the next one you play!!
Hello PokerOrifice!
Thank You for your response to my post!
Your win was Fantastic! Way to go!
I don't get to play The Ferguson often because it's at 1:30am...
Because it was razz, I had to make the extra effort to stay up! Heheh.
Best of Luck at the tables!

I use to play in this tourney and it is just like a freeroll, except that the caliber is better. People still want to double up early but they are more disciplinated. It is not easy to make money in this tourney because only the final table got a ''huge profit". It is only a dollar buy-in so if u try it a few time per week, u will be able to make profit.
- He never bought into a cash game or a Sit & Go for more than 5 percent of his total bankroll; the only exception was at the lowest limits: he was allowed to buy into any game with a buy-in of $2.50 or less
He didn’t buy into any multi-table tournaments for more than 2 percent of his total bankroll; the only exception was $1 MTTs
If at any time during a No-Limit or Pot-Limit cash-game session the money on the table represented more than 10 percent of his total bankroll, he had to leave the game when the blinds reached him

These are great ways to build a bankroll if you have a small budget. It will take alot of discipline though to make deep runs in these events and to ultimately win. The best I've finished is 3rd out of 900 or so for roughy 90 bucks I think. They will also help you build stamina and prepare you to play tournament poker online if played frequently.
When at the tables, play for the love of the game and show respect for your opponents.
Willie, taking 3rd place of 900 in The Ferguson for $90 is great! Congratulations!
Was the game Razz or Texas hold 'em or?
I haven't been playing The Ferguson lately, but about a week and a half ago, I won the FTP forum razz game for $54. ($1 entry, about 60 players)
Wuhoo! I luv Razz!
