cheating on FullTilt?

Just wondering if anyone else has recieved this. It was sent to me by a friend.

We have permanently closed all of the offending accounts. In cases of proven cheating, 100% of the confiscated funds are returned to the players who were victimized. The reimbursement calculation is based on the number of tournaments or hands played against the offending players, and the amount won or lost against them.

We have determined that you are entitled to a refund of $xx.xx which will be placed in your account in the next 72 hours.

For a number of reasons, we are unable to provide any other additional information regarding this case, including the players involved and the game type where it occurred. We thank you for your understanding in this regard. The vigilance of our players in reporting suspicious behavior is an important addition to our ongoing diligence against unethical conduct, and we carefully investigate every concern of suspicious activity.

There are no cheats in fulltilt. The support have doing that job so long that they will remove cheats if there is cheats.

as "king" said, even if its surprising, its good to know that ftp take care of those matter.. but ive never ever heard of this kind of message before!

It is great to see that the support is on its toes and that they caught the cheating quickly. Unlike other sites you have read about. And they caught it themselfs without some poor player haveing to to it.

wow thats pretty sick, i really think if that was true we would have heard about it everywhere like when it happened at UB. So i dont think this is true.

you have to remember that at UB it wasn't the site that found the cheating, I guess that UB didn't have the right software at the time. I think fulltilt had the software to catch the problem so it stayed just in the site itself and didn't have to go out to public.

I guess if you actually had money credited to your account, then it's legitmate. Glad to know they are keeping things safe for us to play. I don't know how I would know somebody was cheating unless it was collusion. I'm used to other people taking my chips.

That is crazy. If they credited your account then that's the site i want to play on. i don't mind being cheated is the being cheated out of money that really gets me. I hope every site is like that, nothing surprises me anymore when it comes to online scams.

Hi I play very often on full tilt poker and I did not see anyone cheat, except one time. It was two guy on a 9 players table, the buy-in was 5 $. These two guys was apparently friends because they were never against each other in big pots and when they were one against the other, they gave to the other the pot. It was easy to know that they were playing together because when I asked them if they played together (Cheating) they were so worry and they just give away the final of the game. I have finaly finish the 1st!
