I love rush poker, havent played a whole lot though, maybe I'll grow to hate it also. I can't earn 1000 ftp's in a month, let alone a day. Maybe I'll get the bronze.

1,000pts/day.... WOW!!! This is only for the RUSH MTT & SNG too I believe. That's alot of freak'n pts. for one day!
New changes in Fulltilt's FTP's.... I do believe that you now get 10FTP for every $1 tourney fee (it used to be 7ftps).
RUSH 135playr SNG's I've actually only played 1 of these.... hated it but for sure there were a TON of weak players in them (mostly ones who overplay, overvalue hands). Have also noticed some players I know who've never been winning players before, have been able to profit in the RUSH Sng's. Does it make me want to play in them.... umm.. nope.

I've also wondered about multi-tabling them (for RUSH cash tables its common for players to 2-table them, some even 4-tabling). For the SNG's & MTT I've seen one guy who 3-tables (& this guy typically 15-20tables MTT's). Personally I think I'd only be able to play on one table with these (maybe 2 if I played a bunch of them..???.. idk).

I think they take ~1.5hrs. to hit final table.

So.. if I need 1,000pts/day & was attempting to do this playing the $11+1 135plyr SNG, I'd need to play 100 of these per day!!! How is that even remotely possible?
"IF" I chose to plaly the $4 135plyr. Rush SNG, (4ftp/game) I'd have to play 250 games per day.
Let's say I average 30mins. in each game & I figure out how to become a mouse-clicking machine. Let's say I'm going to play these for 10hrs/day that's still <250ftp per day.
Let's say I'm playing the $11+1...and am 3-tabling... how many hrs. per day would I need to play in order to accumulate 1,000FTPs? 16hrs. 40mins. That would give me just enough time to sleep & make a few meals in advance to last me for the day.
Do-able but not something I'm planning on attempting anytime soon.

Thanks Fulltilt.... umm.... ah.. but no thx.

(for the $250... based on calculations above, I'd be getting $2/hr. as a bonus from Fulltilt for doing a grind like this. WOWZERS.... really not worth it for me thx).

It includes rush ring games pts also. Good to see you back PO. Hope you did better in your tourney last night then I did. Had my flush beat when set hit quads on river. I didn't have the patience (or the consistent pocket A's like you) to build back up. Super stack's are def. my fav tourney's.

Ha ha.. the pocket A's are what decimated my stack in the first place (I wouldn't normally slowroll w AA.... but it was that same player who'd taken my stack vs AA prior.... wanted to time the RNG... lol).
I went out in 475th KQs < 99 was down to ~10bb.. with a few other SS's on table as well.

That sure was a longgggg tourney before the bubble popped. Nice payout for the winners though (watched a bit of the final table & have a bunch of history with the guy who ended up taking 1st... & he's a super spewy player... maybe a good thing for poker that he won it, lol).

I didn't know that was you in the chat... racked my brain for a bit & thought it was probably you but wasn't sure (it's difficult to match screenames with members on this site.... errr.. at least I've never been able to find a search feature that could do it).

Rush ring is the only way I can see to make that 1000 pts and you would have to multi-table and play higher stakes than I am comfortable with.

So my goal is the lower end-10 pts is easy. 100 pts doable but if I'm running bad, I'm not going to push it.

I did 7 days of rush week in july earning the maximum bonus of 1k pts per day. When black card was introduced they went back 100 days and my rush week degen point totals propelled me to black card status despite not getting many 500 point days in the previous 100. I did nl 50c$1 4 entries and got 1k pts in less than 4 hours during happy hour times. Before rush week I was mostly doing nl 25c50c but there were plenty of fish at 50c1. I have played rush from the start in january.

It's the best thing to happen to my game. Regular tables are difficult moving in and out of tables and multitabling. I still do it on pokerstars and it really ffeels like a grind whereas rush is fun. I love being able to stop without missing blinds, or returning to an empty table like on stars where 1 guy sitsout and then the next round 3 are out and then table is empty. Rush has about 200 players doing nl50c1 and I can easily take time off and review previous hands, take notes, then 4bet the 3betting monkeys with any2 and profit large.

I started early, 12:01am mon. Played .05 .10 NL for 25 mins (1 table, all I can handle) and got my 10 pts for bronze. So I guess to get the silver I'd have to play for 250 mins. Pretty much out of the question, and 2500 mins. for the gold is pretty much physically impossible. A lot of bad players at this time. Easily more than doubled my starting chips.
