FT pts.

Took someone's advice (couldn't find the thread, to be honest, didn't look that hard either) and since my br was depleted, I played some Point buyin sat. to other pt. buyin sat.. Bought in for 300 pts (i think) and won 2500, or entry into 2500 pt buyin sat to something, which I unregistered for and got the pts. I am assuming you can't trade pts for cash on FT. Any suggestions on best way to use Pts. I see you can buy tickets for tourneys but the lowest generic ticket is $26 for more pts than I have. Maybe I'll just keep trying to build my pts and but ticket for a big tourney (again advice from thread I couldnt find).

750 points buys you a Step 1 ticket, work it up to a step 3 or above and you can use the steps ticket to buy into a standard MTT, or take it all the way up to step 7 and win a $10k tournament buy in. At the other end of the scale you can buy into a Daily Dollar Satellite for 60 points then play the Daily Dollar for a big win. The Daily Dollar Satellites are really easy, then just play the Daily Dollar as a freeroll.

Anytime i lose my bankroll or it gets depleted i use my points to help build it back up, just play sum small ftp buy in sng's and when u win entry to another tourny just cash out and take the points and u can build them up like that.

Didnt think about step tickets, thanks for advice, think I'll try that route a couple times.

Thanks Petey, guess you were right, searched for book in FT store. Only problem is it cost 3000 pts, I only had 2700. If I get it over 3000, maybe I'll get it. Though I'm not the biggest Lederer fan. Have you actually got the book Mo?
