100$ freeroll - 5 hours for what??

i never made a deposite and i got a bankroll in 5 different sites thanks to freerolls. its a good way to start getting money without making deposites, then of course move on to buyins

I think they should pay out more than only 27 people (FTP) at a freeroll. There are 2700 entrants an 2000 of them are only fishs, which you have to avoid, because they play like really #$§/&"! You have to play more than 4 hours to get into the money, where you get only $2. When tere are let me say 54 places paid it could be more tempting for those who only play the allinallinallin-game

To be honest yes, it takes a long time to take the money in these kind of freerolls you have to be very very patient, have a good stamina , and your overall game should be good to stay in the game, for you'll meet very loose aggressive players , very aggressive preflop players, very aggresive and tight on flops, tight players, calling stations, very tight players, loose but tight players, ohye and the maniac players and some what overall large amount of donkeys, you'll probally meet them all in a freeroll, and then getting past them takes allot of skill , atleast decent good luck and cunning.


But i would recommend if you want to freeroll for money , dont go do the 2700 players 27 pay outs, ( finishing at 35 or just outside ) makes you go hey wire believe me, yesterday finishing 36, with only first 30 getting payed with 1037 players , made me go ( lol ) ... ( redking poker ) marathon ...

I do see these days it goes a bit faster then 5 hours 6 hours, more loose players and maniacs and donks in it , 3 4 hours now . depends if your in a good one or bad one , with good i mean , allot of people who push it all in allot pre flop , and a bad one is , the opposite LOL !

Try finding some more what private tournaments with a buy in and add on , or guarantee private tours, those are good for rio !

The sad thing is when you play in a free roll it seems like no matter what you do you lose.
if you play smart and tight then you will get rivered by donkeys. And if you play like a donkey your luck runs out before the first break.

I agree, that 5 or 6 hours is ridiculous but it is what it is. I play games with quicker blinds like in Doylesroom (2min blinds) which keeps to game moving. No time to sleep in that game. QuickDraw Freeroll. It's usually only 1 a day. I managed to pull off 7th place for $6. Once. I tired to stay away from the 15 minute blind.

you need spend time to make free money in freerolls which is better than making a deposit but i think you also need to make a deposit just to experience playing wit your own money.

Its tough. Last night for example I played 4 hours for 60 cents. I don't know if it was worth it but it was fun.

Yeah, its definitely a marathon.

A big problem i have is that after so many hours of playing I start getting tired and then make a costly mistake. Just today i was up to 100k chips and lost and all in to a smaller stack and wound up with 40k - that was enough to bubble and I just missed the money by 4 places!

I think I'll take your suggestion and just go to sleep once I hit 100k! Bank the money while I still have it

all these 100 dollar freerolls are very tedious to crack...and if you hit some nuthead on the way....its so damn irritating...i was 10 of 60 in a razz tourney once....and in one seventh street bust went from 10 to 49 and finally ended finishing up 45th....
