I think you are absolutly right that the freerolls takes a lot of time and the payout is low. But I play just for fun and sometimes when I am in a gambling-mode, I enjoy the freerolls. I am not loosing money and its much better than play no-money chips games. And at least you can win something at the end.
Anyway I never got in the money in the freerolls (even after 4 hours playing) so I think everybody who gets some bucks can be happy and, more likely, playes finaly better than me.

i think if u play the freerolls like there had been a buy-in, meaning not going allin on the first hand with 38o then they can actually be fun to play.... and there is the possibility of winning some money, which makes you care a bit at least when u get closer to the money...
it also allows u trying some plays that you maybe would dare if a lot of money was on the line...

find myself here a lot..frustrates the hell out of me...yet i find myself playing every day...usually i get donked right b4 the payout....now thats 5 hrs for what....

The worst is when you finish in like 30th place. 4 hours wasted...how fun!!!
