well yes I've played a few at FT.

playing very tight I have started to cash.

most important is to fold after 5 th street if you are behind.

right that's similar to my experience.

don't know why RAZZ isn't more popular.

it's more straightforward than holdem or any variant.

I always wanted to try all other variants. Finding the time to do so and articles on the sublect are thin.

Sorry I've little to add here dooish. Maybe your posts will help stimulate further interest in this variant.

GL with the quest.

A good way to learn the fundamental rules is in the free sngs on Stars and FT.

There are usually 1 or 2 players in each game who play seriously and get placed.

Win a few of these and you should be ready for the $1 variant sngs and HORSE tourneys on FT.

Yep, I've looked in on a few whilst waiting to play other games on FT, but never played. I will be searching the forums for a link to any strategy guides with the hope of playing a few in the near future.

I'll keep you up to date on progress.

Razz is an easy game to build a bankroll. As with any draw poker, you must have patience and discipline often because you will catch a bad run of cards.

Ah I see, that's what its all about

Find it hard to get a SNG going at times. Joined a few rings and made some play chips.
My interest is growing.

Have you any limits on what is playable and not with the first 3 cards? A23 being obvious...

Thanks dooish for getting us going with this.

nice to see some interest in razz after all.

I always play starters with three to a seven or less.

also play hands like A28, A38 but not A78.

with play money it's hard to bluff but this is a big part of razz in real money games at the higher limits.

say you have an ace as your upcard on third street and the other board cards are high obviously you could try a raise even if you have paint in the hole.

I bought
Mitchell Cogerts e- book for $10.He explains all the moves and dangers of going too far with bad cards.Worth the money if you want a change from wall to wall holdem.

good luck with it if you persevere.
