I TOTALLY DISAGREE with this statement!!! It's a fact that if you are looking at the micro buy-ins, you will find WAYYYYY more loose players then you will in higher buy-ins.
My experience (with running software on varied buy-in mtts.. no.. not ring.. but mtt) is that in $1-$10 range,.. TONS of loose players (LAG, loose calling stations, Loose pass/pass, Loose pass/agg, & Loose agg/pass.
Move up to $15 to $25,.. mostly TAG,.. maybe 75%. Move up to $55+,.. and it's predominantly even tighter.

Games of all types vary just a TON in different buy-in levels. I find this most noticeable in mtts and ring. In the higher buyin sngs, most of the guys are playing turbos and you get a cross of LAG & TAG,.. incidentally, the TAG players seem to be playing much more profitably.
A cheap sng and you get 6 players seeing a flop,.. limp.. call call call,.. min raise, call call call (incidentally... what in the hell is the point of making a 'min-raise' preflop when other limpers are in the hand,.. what are you supposed to accomplish with this... is it supposed to 'narrow the field'?? lol... i hear some rookies say, "It's to sweeten the pot"... ok.. but for who? lol). In larger buy-in sngs, you'll find that at least 50% (or more) of the hands they don't even see a flop. Many hands are raise, re-raise, then fold or shove .. then call or fold. It's a totally different game. If you haven't already... try watching a few of the higher buy-in sngs... it'll give you a completely different outlook on the game.

Very well spoken IMHO. The play does change as the stakes gets higher. However there are still lots of players willing to risk it all on mediocre hands......

Great posts by Futs, ScrawnyBob and PokerOrifice!

IMO, the play on FTP is tighter than on other poker sites.

They also don't offer much in the way of microlimit games.

As the limits go up, you expect people to respect your raises! LOL

I have heard much stories about loose-agressive maniacs from USA, Canada and Australia but on fact most of them i have met are weak tighters. They all have Vpip about 10 on 9max. Its hard to find a fish with 30 Vpip for example. Even 20 Vpip is rare. They alike to limp strong cards (that thing i hate most of all). When i play SSS for example i raise AJs from CO and get re raised from guy who limped from UTG+1. What i must do? fold? i wanted to see what he got and re reaised all in. He showed QQ. Sick.... This tighters dont raise AQ from early position and when i raised much with AA they fold it. This all on 0.10-0.25 9 max limit. When i tryed Nl50 and Nl100 SSS i found it more aggressive and loose and asier to play.
What are u doing about average players level at fip?
i usually take advantage of the fact they are playing tight ....use this op to steal blinds and build your chips for the bigger wars later on...on the bubble is usuall the best time to do this type of thing.

You need to read the 4kingpoker forum posting requirements. "You need 10 QUALITY posts". 3/4 of yours are below standard at best.
