Has anybody watched the movie rounders?

Any of you guys seen the film rounders?

Its a great poker movie if you havn't..

To be honest i really did not like the movie "Rounders" very much. The movie "The Color Of Money" starring Paul Newman & Tom Cruise although was about pool hustlers which was a great movie, and are both similar in nature. Hustling is hustling be it poker or pool ETC...... IMHO "Rounders" Could have been made a whole lot better.

"The Color Of Money" is kind of a sequel to a very old movie starring Jackie Gleason & Paul Newman called "The Hustler" came out in 1961 (When i was 3yrs old.) (Damn im old lol ;-) Jackie Gleason play's the part of "Minnesota Fats" and Paul Newman play's a young up and coming pool hustler named "Eddie Felson" which Paul Newman play's a older "Eddie Felson" in "The Color Of Money".

i did like the movie. didnt know how deep it actually gets in the real life though. it was cool to see johnny chan and his huge 1980's sunglasses

how could u not like rounders the movie is what really sparked the poker playing industry at least what i think it made a lot of ppl think they could play poker online or live bring on the fish the shark is hungry

I must disagree about sparking of the poker industry. The movie "Rounders" was made because of ESPN televising the WSOP. Thats what sparked the poker craze.

I did see the movie "Rounders" , and I thought it was great! I think was because of the characters.

I really like Ed Norton, and think he played this well. I also liked the KGB---guy.

It’s a good night in movie!

They are starting to come out with more of these movies as the Poker industry grows.

Do you think it is growing or that we just were not as aware of it because of TV?
