Battlestar Gallactica Final Episode

Friday night marked the end of one of my favorite Sci-Fi shows, Battlestar Gallactica. The final episodes finally explained so much. The fleet finally found a new planet to live on and then sent the whole fleet of ships into the sun! Everyone stayed on the planet with barely the clothes on their backs to start anew.

It's sad that another one of my favorite Sci-Fi shows is gone, but I just found out that a new series will be coming out called, Caprica!

This show will take place over 50 years before the setting of Gallactica. From what I understatnd, it will start off just as Caprica has developed artificial intelligence and the Cylons. So, for those who enjoyed Galactica, now we can see what happened before everyone who was left after the Cylon Wars took off to find Earth.

I guess that the pilot will be aired in a month or two, but the series isn't scheduled to start until next year, but it gives me a new Sci-Fi show to look forward too.

oh ok - this isnt the 70's one I remember as a kid - with the sylons

become a big fan of DrWho as I can justify watching it with the nipper

used to like watching a sci fi series that had a spaceship that was alive and a blue woman in it and a motley crew I think with a bloke who had travelled accidently through time ...

cant remember the damn name of it now ?

but I'm addicted to old school BBC reruns of such classics as Lovejoy, Bergerac, Howards Way and the Oneden Line ... probably a bit niche UK audience of a certain age ;-)

And of course now its started again - the business muppets of the apprentice with Alan Sugar
