Gypsy is right of course!
Poker will be there waiting for you when you are done with the Important Stuff.
To get ahead in this life, sometimes you just have to bear the burden.
Now get back to it and stop screwing around so much! lol

Look on the bright side: if you think being a student gets in the way of playing poker, try being a prof. It becomes near impossible to concentrate on poker when you have forty-two 1000+ word research essays to grade, and you know most of them are going to suck--not to mention the MLA formatting. Then when you bust a kid for plagiarism because it copied-and-pasted its paper off the internet, its mother calls you on the phone (despite the fact the student is supposedly an adult) and tells you that you're an anus.
Not to change the subject, but I think it funny to see the different ways men and women(in general) respond to things. First the women gave advice and support and the men (man) responds with a comparison of how "You think you have it tough, we had to walk to school barefoot in the snow, uphill both ways" (hopefully no offense was taken because that was not my intent). I was just pointing out something that I've been observing at work for some time now.
Now on subject... Good luck in your exams and remember to put on your boots before going out in the snow. The hills out there are mighty tall, both ways.

P.S. I can only imagine how tough it is to teach and you have my greatest respect. I hope your students appreciate you and what you’re trying to do for their future.

interesting analogy...trauma and drugs...= appreciation, and lack of, of education...
not taken many other considerations into play
trauma may have come from a rich family and had no worries...in fact may have valued other teachers/subjects more
drugs may have been talented but poor, ostracised and ended up in a no win situation, but very appreciative of what time he spent in school...
don't mind me...i'm just the devil's advocate...
remember...
it's not always what it seems![]()
