Mother Earth is not getting enough love around here. Earth Day needs some love. I was glad to see my college campus have some Earth Day festivities, even if some crazed evangelists tried to hijack the thing.

The first Earth Day I remember/celebrated was in 1990. I hit Exxon stations in Pasadena and called people mofos for the Exxon Valdez spill (which they expected taxpayers to pay for the cleanup). Kind of a silly thing to do (I was young and idealistic then), but at least it made it memorable.
