All summer we have been watching this spider who made her home in my Daliha leaves. I actually am not a big fan of spiders in general, but they are incredible creatures.

All this summer, she hid out under a particular leaf right next to her web all day. Every evening she would wrap up the day's catch, tear down her old web and build a brand new one for the next day's meals.

I finally got a couple of cool pictures today. My husband threw a moth in her web and she ran out from under her leaf. She grabbed it and started wrapping up, giving me a couple of good shots.

A nature show in your own yard. Great idea your husband had of throwing the moth in as bait. Surprised she took to it that bast but great you got those pictures. What fun for you both. Thanks for sharing.
