My partner was invited to a HeadsUp match vs. Gavin Smith about a year ago, during a tournament that had a handful of the popular tv poker pros playing in it. The first day we got to the Casino she walked into the gift shop & just about ran right into Daniel Negreanu. Her first comment uttered out of her mouth was, "You're Daniel Negreanu!"... no shit. (and seriously.. 'no shit', true story).

When I started reading this post (and falling for it 100% btw), I thought to myself, "Wow.. what a cool flight that would be, sitting next to a poker pro & picking their mind during the flight... maybe playing a bit of HU NLHE on the food tray, lol" I had an oppurtunity to hang out with Gavin for part of a day but never got to talk poker at all...sigh.
