Are the notes written 2 years ago helpful for you?? I think that many players left the pokerrooms or changed their styles of play. I think that notes maximum 6 months old can be useful.

Very good point.... but, if I was deep in an MTT with a guy over a yr. ago and he was capable of certain plays at the time, I'm guessing he still is... and if he was a really good, strong player then & was up over $100K in profits then I've got a good idea that he is 'still' a really good player, lol.
Also quite often my notes will reflect upon the personality type of my opponent, based upon their playing style. Quite often this doesn't change.Brad Booth - > "Like a fight... it's not how you start, it's how you finish"

I must truly say that my notes that I wrote 2 years ago are worth nothing. I noticed matters that aren't important for me these days. My opponents play in a different way - they progressed. All I think is valuable in my notes are the places in tournaments which my opponents reached. The reason of "dissapearing" of my opponents is easy to explain too. They play still in the same poker networks but from different pokerrooms and they don't use their old nicks.

I play mostly on Fulltilt. Alot of the MTTs I play in, it's the same players who've been playing for years. Alot of them don't change their style too much. My notes aren't etched in stone, & usually have a date written beside them to help with knowing if the info. would be still relevant.
