Top 3 Favorite Movies
What is your top 3 favorite movies of all time??? Most of mine would not make any top 100 list, but we all have our personal favorites.
I think the top movie of all time was about some multimillionaire's wagon, Citizen Kane. I watched it, and that was about a 4 on a scale of 10. To me, I said who cares about a newspaper magnates life. But that is my opinion.
I'l be brave and take the arrows first. Here is three of my favorite movies.
Housesitter - After building his dream house, architect Newton Davis proposes marriage to his girlfriend, only to be summarily rejected. He seeks solace in a one-night stand with a waitress, never imagining that a woman he slept with once would end up posing as his wife. Gwen's ruse is so effective that by the time Newton learns of his "marriage," the entire town feels like they know him. I love a white lie as much as the next person. This is a wonderful story about 2 maestros of white lie telling. One a veteran, Goldie Hawn and one learning as he goes, Steve Martin.
The Cutting Edge - Spoiled but accomplished figure skater Kate Moseley is on her way to the Olympics, and so is egotistical hockey player Doug Dorsey. When an eye injury puts Doug out for the rest of the season, he reluctantly agrees to try working as Kate's partner, which allows him to stay in competition. The duo gets off to a rough start but learns to perform as a team, and they soon become medal contenders with. Perfect for watching during these winter Olympics.
Blade Runner: The Final Cut - In a smog-choked futuristic Los Angeles, blade runner Rick Deckard is called out of retirement to snuff a quartet of escaped "replicants" -- androids consigned to slave labor on remote planets -- seeking to extend their short life spans. How far would we go to extend our lifespan if we found out it would last only four years. Harrison Ford does well in this movie and perfect acting by Rutger Hauer.

I'd have to go with,
1, Life of Brian - Monty Python (classic)
2, Hang 'Em High - But really I like any old Clint Eastwood westerns.
And if King's going to mention Angelina then I nominate.
3. Any movie with Charlize Theron (except Monster) Charlize makes Angelina look like something my dog regurgitated.
But The Notebook was an excellent movie though, you do have some taste King!!!!
"Who's next?"

So Many...
I have to say that Stephen King's "The Stand" has to be my Number 1 favorite movie. It's been my favorite book since I read it, re-read, re-read and re-read it some more..lol. When they decided to put it on tv as a mini-series, I didn't really know what to expect. Usually when they make a book into a movie, a lot of the deeper meaning has to be left out due to the time contraints. They did a great job incorporating enough of that meaning into the movie. Even if you've never read it, you can "get" a lot of what Stephen King was trying to get across to his audience.
I don't really have any more favorite movies exactly, it's more like favorite actors and their type of movie. Comedies with Will Ferrell, such as Elf, Step Brothers and Talladaga Nights and Adam Sandler in The Wedding Singer, 50 First Dates and Happy Gilmore.
