New Job

As I may have mentioned occasionally I have been out of work for a while. I was made redundant in January 2009 due to the recession hit the industry I was working in. I have applied for several jobs a week since then but with no luck.

Yesterday after a couple of interviews I was offer a job which was fantastic. Today I went on another interview that was arranged before I was offered the first job and what do you know after just 20 minutes in the interview I was offered that one too. I have never been offer a job so quickly in an interview I was stunned. So now I have 2 jobs

Does this mean less poker ?

I've still got a chance to keep a job as a couple of positions have been advertisied internally which I can apply for. However if they don't work out I'll be having to apply myself to job hunting at the end of April.

I'm probably going to have to make the safe choice. There is one job I really want to do and one job I have loads of experience in. The loads of experience one is the safe one and having been out of work for so long it's only fair to my family to go with the safe one.

Congrats on finding jobs, in this day and age it is very hard to find work.Theone of the worst things in the world has got to be looking for work, yikes that is really the pits man

Gratz getting reemployed. It is tough out there between layoffs and forced furloughs, not a friendly place.
