Default How to Post a Screen Shot

I'm sure there are other ways to do this, but here is the method I use.

-Hold down Ctrl key and press "print screen" key

    -open MS paint program(start>accesories>paint

-Hold down Ctrl key and press V key(this will put your image in paint)

-Click on File>save as>then choose your folder to save in SAVE FILE AS jpeg file

You should now have the image saved to a file on your computer.

got to TinyPic - Free Image Hosting, Photo Sharing & Video Hosting (there are numerous file sharing sites but this is the one I use(it's free)

-click on "browse" and find your file
-change default size to "thumbnail" (this is only necessary for 4kingpoker site-SB doesn't like full images)
    -click upload
    -you will see several choices-choose the one for forums-right click>select all>right click>copy
-go to your post in the forum and paste

-once you submit your post the screen shot will show.

    Hope this helps.

Why do u hold down CTRL key? You capture screen only with the "prt screen" button.
You can hold Alt and press "print screen", that will only copy the foreground window/program..

Thanks for the info guys, I'll give it shot. Sounds easy enough, but usually doesn't work out that way.

    get this: IrfanView
    the easiest image managing programs
It also has the ability to set a shortcut key for taking a SS that will automatically put the image in the program and you will only have to save it (in about 30 formats of ur choice).
And you can resize them too very easily.

Try scanning your Windows files for errors and fixes. PM me if you need to know how to do this.

Thanks JB and King, I guess an old dog can learn new tricks. I'm saving this to favorites because I know I'll forget and if I write it down I'm sure I'll forget where I put it.
Now all I need to do is win something.

Are 9 man SnG's allowed in the winners forum?

Thought I'd ask a computer question here so instead of double posting I was smart and pushed edit, you see how I did that?
Ok, here goes. I connect to the internet no problem (dial-up, I know, I know) now if I leave the receiver on so I can here all the buzzing and clicking and whirring I stay connected no problem. If I turn the receiver off, insta-disconnect. Now, any ideas on what the problem is here?
