Talking Being a positive force in someone's life

Kindness is difficult to give away because it keeps coming back.

Being a positive force in someone's life:

Perhaps you've seen how an upward spiral can happen as you build a healthy lifestyle.

With momentum and small, but consistent, healthy actions, success comes easier and easier until results start to exceed the effort you put into it.

Well, the same thing can happen when it comes to being a positive force for others. One small action leads to another, which can lead to many.

Your actions may inspire others to do the same, with far-reaching results that completely outweigh that first effort. You'll probably have no idea how much of a total effect your actions will have.

But that kindness will often be paid back two-, three- or even tenfold. If not from the person you helped, then from someone further down the "kindness" chain.

So go try it out! Do a kind thing for the next person you meet, and see if you don't get a positive return.

    i really like your outlook...

too many people are negative nowadays...

and i'm cynical...a lot because of the way i've been treated and the way i see the world going...not because i like it like that

    so

    thanks for caring

Default kindness goes a long way...

it is a good idea. it's very easy for me to do this everyday because of where i live. (a senior retirement area) you would not believe the amount of people who try to pay me after i have done a kind act. i just say "oh, that's very nice of you but i haven't any pockets so i'll catch you next time." it's now like a little game we play around here. seniors are very proud and i don't want to insult their dignity by flat refusing the $.

So true & glad you posted it. It seems people aren't as kind as they used to be and it can't hurt to remind us now and again. I come across so many people who just don't seem to care. Thanks for the reminder.

    Thumbs up Exactly mate

Tking888, exactly what I'm talking about mate.

Your actions are the personification of it. Thanks for being kind, useful and respectful of your fellow humans.

    My best to you, Wally
