Earth has 1 moon, Mars 2, Jupiter 62, Saturn 33, Uranus 27, Neptune 13, Pluto 1.

The info that mars will be as big as the moon is also incorrect. On August 27, the moon will be near Jupiter – not Mars. On Aug 27, 2003 earth and mars came closer than they had been in 60,000 years, but it still didn't appear anywhere near as large as the moon.

Since then, this rumor circulates every year.

Mars was brighter earlier this year when it came closest to Earth for the year on January 27, 2010.

Your right but the email had realistic Canadian credentials at the bottom and it looked so authentic. OOPS
