People tweeting talking about the greatest show they have even seen. The pictures look spectacular and I cant wait til Nov 16th to see this, As the original tour in 1980 played 2 cities in the US.

The show will be in Ottawa Oct.17th. A cool thing is he picked a choir of students from a high school in Toronto to join the band on stage to sing backup to another brick in the wall.I wonder if they will do this in other cities.
P.S. ... check out comfortablynumblive.com or see comfortably numb on YouTube. Lucky to have them in Canada.They play Ottawa in October as well but in a smaller venue than a huge NHL hockey arena so you can easily get up close even in front on the floor.They cover a different Pink Floyd album in full each time but also play the hits.They have been approved by Pink Floyd to show there videos etc. because there that good.There always touring.

I have been all over you tube and saw the kid choir come out, very cool. Does Toronto allow proshot videos of concerts, I have downloaded full concert off You tube from this arena and they look and sound like DVDs (like the Van HalEN rOTH REUNION, they had the whole concert up)

Waters is coming to Boston Sep 30th and Oct 1st.

My favorite Floyd tribute band is Australian Pink Floyd. See them every year.

In 1994, David Gilmour attended an Australian Pink Floyd Show performance at The Fairfield Halls in Croydon and invited the band to attend the end-of-tour, after-show party for The Division Bell tour at Earls Court Exhibition Centre in London.

They are the only Pink Floyd tribute act to play for any Pink Floyd member. In 1996, they performed at David Gilmour's 50th birthday. They are the only Pink Floyd tribute act to have performed at the Royal Albert Hall, first performing there on 26 November 2001 and being joined with the choir from Islington Green School for a rendition of Another Brick in the Wall pt. 2, and again sold out the Royal Albert Hall in May 2007. Roger Waters is reported to have attended this performance.

Your right Frosty the Aussie band maybe the best in the world for sure.I see there only touring in Poland,Checz and Europe mainly 2010/2011. Where as Comfortably Numb is considered the best in North America.I believe most of the players are from the Toronto area.
All i know is they put on a good show for $30 a head and thats expensive when the real act you can see for $75. Your right if you can get out to see the real act you should.Reading the opening night review from Toronto they have so much animation on big screens. Thats a show in itself. Don,t take the Brown Acid.. lol

Rg how cheap are tickets in Canada, to see the real thing is a few hundred here, IM in the nosebleeds (front row nosebleeds) since getting older being right at the action aint my thing anymore. and I got over $75 a ticket just in the highest sections.


I would love to see this band ya'll are talking about, I bet they will sound more on it and closer to the originals than Waters bands will.

Go back and listen to Rogers IN THE FLESH DVD and listen to dogs. THE SOLO IS SO F"D UP there is one part in where gilmour sounds like he doing somthing like banging the pick down the neck of the guitar into a great guitar phrase at the end of the run and its like asignature part of the song that Waters bands just kind of overlooked. I bet this tribute band nails it perfect.

Got tickets for Aussie Pink Floyd in Nov. They'll be in Canada too. For some reason, their web site only shows the 2011 tour dates.

You can see the seating chart.$200 is lower level beside the stage.$99 is lower level but further from the stage and 2nd level of the bowl.$75 is third level nosebleeds.And the $55 is 3rd level nosebleeds but furthest end from the stage.
Even for hockey games though its a fairly new NHL arena which offers good views.I guess these prices are pretty good compared to the USA ??

They are pretty close, we dont have any $55 tickets it soundlike ya'lls $55 tickets are our $75 tickets as thats the most Im paying for anyone so Im nosebleeds but front row nosebleeds on the side so no one will be in my way and I CAN WATCH THEM BUILD THE WALL and WATCH THE WALL FALL, DAMN Id love to grab one of those bricks for a souvenir.
