It's a big country!!! Our population is about equal to the countries of Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom combined.

I listen to Dire Straits a bit. I have both songs "money for nothing", and "sultans of swing". I like the latter the best.

As for people saying Japan is reaping what they sow, karma, blah blah. Opinions are like a$$holes, everyone has one. Stupid ignorant people. There are innocent people involved. People's moms and dads, and children.

Conversely, I think some of the bleeding hearts (like news reporters, public figures) may be overstating their actual concern for the situation. I think many people are phony, and when it really comes down to it, in all honesty, they don't really care. They spend a few moments of their day thinking of it. Then they think about what is for dinner tonight. Are they gonna get some from the wifey. How are they gonna get that new tv they want. How can they get more money, etc. Not that I expect them to quit work and head over there with the peace corps.

I don't even follow the news. I only know what is in this post. I heard there was a tsunami or something. That's all. I don't want innocent people to suffer. I like kids. Kids are invloved. It is wrong to say a child or someone you don't even know deserves this. Oh well, my very uneducated opinion here. Peace to all, and I hope (for real) the Japan stuff works out, with minimal harm to the human race there.
