Chat in tonight's game

We were chatting in tonight's game about all sorts of things and I know I'm guilty of talking a lot of crap when I'm bored. But it came up about my youngest son in the chat and I mentioned the problems he has. This is what he suffers with.

Neurodevelopmental Disorders

Developmental disorders, such as Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity (ADD/ADHD), Autistic Spectrum (including High Functioning Autism/ Asperger Syndrome) & Dyspraxia, are clusters of overlapping and inter related problems. The vast majority of children will have a mixed picture of strengths and difficulties. In fact, many will have two or three additional problems. Children rarely fit 'textbook' diagnostic descriptions. A detailed and accurate assessment and diagnosis is essential to obtain the appropriate level of educational support.

His strongest tendency's are ADHD and Asperger Syndrome with Dyspraxia thrown in. All this added together causes him great frustration and he has mega temper tantrums.

Next time you see a kid being naughty please don't be quick to judge they may also suffer and believe me as a parent you really wish things would be different.

So while some of what I say in chat is a bit of a fairy story this lot was all true

Also, great point regarding that 'folks should stop to think before judging/reacting when they see a kid acting up"... you just never know what is going on for them.
