After seeing what happens on a freeroll day here I can't believe so many try it on.
These games for members here are not about the money but it's our league games and with so many wanting to play our games just to hopefully get a few $$'s is unbelievable.
They don't care about the forum all they wanted was the password.I watched who's online last night and couldn't believe how many new members was PM'ing and I guess it was to you.

We do want new members joining us but when you know all they are after is the password it makes my blood boil.

I do think that there should be a time limit between joining up and getting the password.
Cause you know darn well anyone signing up on a Wed/Thurs has seen the game in the lobby of a poker site and just reg'ed here for it.Also it would make it easier for you as you shouldn't have all those PM's.
Don't forget to empty your box.

Oh my, it was very annoying on the forum last night. It seems that everytime I read threads, people were asking about passwords. It really pisses me off that people could be so inconsiderated about the forum and the people who chat here regularly. Initially, I didn't participate as much when I first joined, mainly because of medical issues. But after playing freerolls and chatting with the members, I almost feel obligated to be here and support of other members of the forum because you guys are wonderful people. So in return, if you don't want to contribute ina positive way, stay away from the forum.

yep I guess this has been a bit of an eye-opener for our regular and newer (but not just joined) members

As you all know (but unfortunately joining members seemed not to have read) I was away in Prague on other business - with a pretty committed schedule that meant I wasnt going to be able to send the password out from there or deal with what is now a weekly routine of damage limitation in the new joiners forum posting ordeal

so the password got bulk sent a day or two early and the usual freeroll password hunter quick posts went up on the night without me being able to delete them live

sorry to everyone for having to see it as it happens (without me putting in 4-5 hours straight) deleting and PMing errant new members with the rules etc to try and get them on the straight and narrow or at least not posting dross in vain

I will be working over the next couple of days to sort out the dross posts and try to tidy up the forum inbetween processing the separate work generated from my trip

feel free to send in "report posts" to me using the red triangle on top right of posts - I will then deal with that whole thread - on the basis that this is one the members feel should definately be kept "clean & tidy" and/or report members / posts that you feel need attention

As you know I'm addressing the FT & PS games by putting them into a buy-in only league of there own - I think this will be much better

As always new members ARE welcome but we do have rules, they are pretty obvious and easy to find, as is the information on password requirments ... and the fact that posting 10 random posts doesnt make some automatic system shoot out the password ... but still we get endless threads asking where the passwords are

so for new members I would like to say you are ALL welcome providing you make the effort to follow our rules - 10+ decent posts (2 sentences / 2 lines and relavant to the threads) ... after those posts then obviously chat type posts are fine but as members have pointed out ...

there is really little point in us gaining 100's of new members who just want the occasional freeroll password (thats what the actual poker rooms freerolls are there for) ... I would much rather have less members wanting to join but thsoe members be ones that are interested in the other members and what our forum is all about

sorry again to our regular members (and the new members who have followed the rules) for having to plough through the dross - it will be tidier in a day or two
