can anybody recommend any decent movies to watch that are entertaining like rounders

i watched an old poker movie called "a big hand for the little lady" , that is a good movie. not perfect but but good enough, some scenes really entertaining

not related to poker but i really love "cat on a hot tin roof" thats one great classic although not very entertaining but one of coolest movies.

"black cat, white cat" , "im juli" , "radio days" are quite entertaining too. especially "black cat, white cat" may be what you are looking for.

Any movie or just poker movies? I can't seem to think of any poker movies but if you are looking for a good one in theaters check out The Dark Knight. If you have an Imax near I am told it is even better in an Imax. I live in the sticks so that is not an option for me. I was staying the Tropicana in Atlantic City last week and almost went to see it. They have Imax in the hotel. Ultimately I went to the tables but I thought about it, lol. Anyway it is a very entertaining flick.

I went and seen Step Brothers last week with Will Ferrell, I would not recommend seeing this movie. It has made me think strongly against him now, the movie was not funny like Talladega Nights or Elf. Go see don't mess with the zohan with adam sandler, it's good.

I bet Zohan is funny, but I will wait till it comes out on dvd. When I go to the movies I prefer to watch something more cinimatic than a comedy. I feel like I get my money's worth that way. While with a comedy I like to have a drink and laugh on my couch.

How about The Cincinnati Kid with Steve McQueen and E.G. Robinson, or is this too old for you?

The fight scenes where the director like to have the cameras moving around to make the action more intense and make batman seem faster is WAY nauseating on IMAX. FYI. Also only about ten minutes of the movie was actually shot in full sized IMAX film...I think the experience was better and cheaper at the regular theater...personally.

No offense but I am legend was shat. If you are going to remake a movie that is 50 years old (not to mention already been remade once) you had better do a damn good job of it. In my opinion that was another movie that had great potential, but either the writer, the director, the editor, or most likely some combination thereof let me down.
