He called my bluff
Playing a $1-2 Pot Limit Hold Em' game, the action folds to the SB who just calls. I check the BB with A9o. The flop comes AJ9. He checks and I bet the pot trying to look like a steal. He just calls. The turn brings a 10. He checks and I make a $6 feeler bet with every intention of folding to a raise and checking the river. He just calls. The turn brings a Q. I know I have to be beat now with a AJ9TQ rainbow board. He checks and I check. He rolls over.......Ready for this?........34 spades with NO spades on the board!
So I type, "man you must have loved that flop!
To which he responds, "I didn't think you had much"
I simply said, "oh"
These are the folks that catch runing 4s to beat us. I just have to remember these good times next time those bad ones hit.

5 of a kind
Amen Lake ... I saw a few today ... I love their justifications for the flush draw, the suck out to beat poc Kings holding only Queen high preflop, or the weak kickers .... I appreciate every one of them
I tracked a few that played loose reasonably close to the money ... both were in good shape ... neither one I followed made the money after hitting the lotto ... one thing to get lucky ... completely another to hold on to it

royal flush
i played in a qualifier today and played two hands..AA...AQs....the all in action was so crazy I folded everything else. All my blinds were raised. The AA came in the bb, and they had me all in already. I came in 48 of 700+ (top 100 qualify) In the finals tonite got down to about 150(of 477) got my AA. Played very few hands again, several lotto players with bigger stacks. Raised 3 times BB, got a few callers.Surprised no one put me all in. flop A6 9, I move all in. Two fold, one calls. He shows Q7. huh. I win this hand I'm in the money. Pays top 90, but I would of had nice stack. 90th pays $10...1st $1000. you bet runner runner 10, 8. I cordially type gl everyone except for(heehaw's name) of couse. Granted, a bad beat is a bad beat, but to get beat by a bad play is even more painful.

best lay down ever
playing a tournament with 8 at my table...i was the dealer. First guy calls the blind, second raises to $800 (blinds $50/$100), everyone folds to me. I have "KK", I rasie to $2000, player behind me calls, (he didn't worry me because he was an idiot), intial raiser goes all in. Now he had been playin super tight all game....I fold....player behind me calls the all in. Tight player flips over AA...caller flips QQ. AA goes on to win, then he asks what I folded and I told him...he was furious. So sometimes layin down KK does get some satisfaction.

Figures
There will always be idiots that just come in to bet big no matter what rags they hold. Get use to it or play higher stake games. The bingo players never win enough to afford to play there
