Horse tips

Hey guys I tend to play horse alot on full tilt .Awile back I made the final table on 2.25 buy-in at 4:45 AM.I came in 7th.However I wasn't too happy cause it didn't pay too much cause there was only 192 people in the field.Anyway does anyone have any tips on how to play a final table at a horse torunament.I have alot of trouble at that part of the game ?Horse is one of the hardest torunament to play cause you can play few hands and you can still lose all or most your chips in one hand .Is there a way to gain more lose less ?Anybody who help please do?

Limit horse actually you can not lose too much at first. The trick is to play to the advantages of the current game. You have to be good at all of the games to do well.

HORSE is a tuff game and i usually choose to play only premium starting hands when reaching a FT. I have to say that you don't need to be good in all games to reach FT but to choose your best games. I usually play Omaha HI/Lo, Razz and Holdem as i don't master well Stud. I only play it when i have trips in my hand or almost, which is not a good way to play it.

You have to be good at all of the games to do well.

Don't forget that luck is strongly involve too... especially at the end, at the final table where indeed you can lose most of chips in only one hand even if that hand is one of the best starting... as it's limit poker and in limit poker you are going to get callers... you need to hit and hit and hit, keep hitting

Luck isn't involved any more than any other poker game. You have to be aware of the board and what your opponents might have and not rely on lucky hits.
