Horse
I would like to know if anyone knows where I can get the best bang for my buck on a horse tourney on Pokerstars.I'm trying to find a decent buy-in but doesn't kill the bankroll. One that pays a decent pay out.Cause I'm really trying to get better.I made up in my mind that I'm gonna save up my money and head out in 2010 to the WSOP and buy in to the 1500 horse tourney so I'm gonna to try to practice my game.So any suggestion would help.

how to play horse / where to play horse poker
hi
I think the two main sites for HORSE poker are pokerstars & full tilt poker
also you can get some horse strategy tips and learn to play horse poker
at my newer site howtoplayhorsepoker.com
which includes all the horse poker rules for razz, omaha etc

Very tough to get a "bang for your buck" playing HORSE. I don't think ANY site offers a GTD prizepool so your basically playing a regular mtt with no overlay. Stars anf FT are the best sites to play but the payout structure on FT is better, Stars pays more places but the cash emphasis is on the top 5, spreads the cash further but those that "just" make it to the money just about get their buyin back.

if you're looking for bang for your buck, i really doubt that playing any limit & or pot limit games will help you get there unless you are truly savvy about limit play, you're likely not to do well.....here's what i did, when i was new to horse i played in the freerolls on stars, also played in the play chips buyins on stars to learn the game, it worked out quite well, i learned a lot about the game as well as what game i was better at & stuck to those, horse can be complicated only if you let it boggle your brain
horse takes a LOT of patience

I love horse even though I generally don't play limit poker. It's an interesting change of pace and gives you a chance to practice other games other than NLHE. A lot of pros consider winning the WSOP horse tournament a real accomplishment more than any of the others except the Main Even of course.

I usually have real good time playing HORSE, mostly private games.
I had a glance at PS scheduled as i was interested by playing some HORSE game too and found some nice cash tables there, which might be a good way to practice your playing style for HORSE. It starts at $0.10/$0.20. Then if you prefer to practice MTT, why don't give a shot to thoses attractive SnG, from the same room, which starts from $1+$0.20 to $1000+$30. I'm sure you'll find your way through thoses games to become a better HORSE rider.
