RAZZ starters
I know there are lots of maths wizards on here so could one of you tell me how many three card combinations of 7 or under in a 52 pack. Also how many of 8 and over?

34x 3 cards combinations 7 and under x 4 suits=136, the others you shouldn't even be worrying about.

and some of those combos you don't want to deal with ... like 222, 333, etc. 226, etc. you don't want to play pairs or trips.
don't play the game though. it will drive you crazy. seriously. you wanna see bad beats? get someone frustrated at a razz table and watch them chase you down.

Razz
Love that game, simply because allot of people don't know how to play it. People seems to always overbet on hands with 9 or 10 high, that's where you can catch them.. and there should be always allot flop folding.. if you your flop gives you 2 cards over 8 - don't play that flop..

i use to hate play razz game and one time actually buy in on a razz game on accident... wasnt very funny either. but after a while i got the hand of razz and say sometimes i like it more the texas holdem. its ver simple, A would be the smallest in the hand and pairs, straights, and flush doesnt count. so the best posible hand is A2345. but also keep in mind that the best five lowest cards win. watch out for pairs to, they dont count but it can really mess up your hands for ex. A,A,2,2,3,4,k... 2 Ace only counts as 1 and 2 duces only counts as one. so thats alot of low cards but seems low but actually high...
five lowest in that hand is A234k yoou got king high. so if someone with a 2345Q will beat you... hope your injoy the game... good luck!!!

I like Badugi more than Razz. If I get stuck with an 8 or 9 I can still win in Badugi, if I have 4 different suits. With Razz, you counting on that last card to be low so your 8 or 9 is not included , and it matches one of the low cards you currently own, there is no way you are gonna come out on top.

Badugi is a blast to play. I really enjoy it. Won 2 outta 3 tournaments I've played of it. A lot of fun and relatively soft crowd to play against.
