scarce HORSE sngs

So hard to get a game these days now the USA is absent from Stars and FT has gone.

Regd last night in HORSE sng at Stars and 30 mins later still the only one.

Really don't get the fixation holdem has on 95% of players. Finding wall to wall holdem quite boring now.

Had to settle for my first triple stud sng which was good too.

Anyone play HORSE cash games?

I play horse tournaments occasionally - horse cash rarely

although I totally agree with you it's a shame that Texas Holdem is for most sites the only game in town

Omaha and Omaha hi/lo generally tend to be the next most offered games (I like hi/lo)

The main problem is there were really only 3 sites that had any HORSE traffic ... Full Tilt, PokerStars and Party

as you said Tilt has gone for the moment, Stars is closed to US and so is Party

the "rush" to rush style holdem games like zoom on stars doesn't really help as it highlights the reality that the vast vast majority of players (even possibly ones who think they play a good game) cannot resist the chance to play more hands rather than have the skill advantages of position and knowledge of players at the table

Stud and Draw I'm not so good on or keen on

but I like the mix of HORSE which is why we used to run the odd HORSE tournament in the forum

BTW the WSOP starts on the 29th May so our version the 4KSOP will start around a similar time ... and as usual the 4KSOP will include a good variety of different poker variations including HORSE for at least the 4KSOP Players Championship event which together with the main event IS the game to do well in
