Hi all.

Living in Tallahassee right now, working on a PhD in political science. I mostly play limit and no limit hold 'em in the lower stakes, but am trying to play more stud and triple draw lately. I love tourneys for NLH, ring games for limit. I'll also play a NLH cash game if that's what available. We have legal card rooms in Florida, so I go to the local dog track every now and then. It's +EV, but I'm definitely still in the bankroll-building phase with $1/$2 ring games and the occasional $50 tourney.

Hello everyone from SW Ohio,

Heard about and seen this place quite a bit, so I figured why not sign up and join. By the looks of it so far, its a great place to be at. Not entirely a newbie to online poker and poker in general, as I have played for about 6 years, and had a few notable results to my name, albeit very long ago, since I now work full time and at rather odd hours (combo of 2nd and 3rd shift mainly).

I've also seen and read quite a few stories of people building bankrolls from nothing, and I aim to do the same, even if it takes a long while to do so. Haven't played seriously in about 18 months, and when you take that much time off, the game is seemingly way different than it was when leaving it, and it has since I started playing again at the start of the new year with leftover spare change that's almost 0 now. Oh well...
