titan series freerolls & 3+1 buyin tournies

we've got a new series of tournies starting at

Titan Poker from Sunday 12th Feb 3pm EST / 8pm GMT

A mix of $50 freerolls and $3+1 buy-ins ($50 added) - 6 tournaments running on the 2nd & 3rd Sundays of the month

The top 30 players with the most points over the 6 tournies will qualify for the final

The winner of the final will also win a 500 piece POKER CHIP SET.

ENTRY CODES WILL BE IN THE "tournament codes" section of the forum

this is updated every 24hrs - so those of you joining after this point will not be able to gain access to the codes via the forum.

so - make a post on the forum and then PM me scrawnybob asking for the entry code and I will send it to you individually

just a quick reminder The Titan Series 3rd game is this Sunday - 12th March 3pm EST
it's a $50 FREEROLL - entry code is in the "tournament codes section" of the forum

4th game the Sunday after - 19th March 3pm EST -
we have a $3+1 buy-in tournie with $50 added

the series is over 6 games and the 30 players with the highest series score will be invited to play in the final - a $3+1 buy-in with $50 added and the winner will also get a 500 Piece POKER CHIP SET.

NB. In order to be eligible to qualify for the final you will have to play in at least one of the buy-in tournies in the series. (there are two left out of the four games remaining)

also we have cut the minimum entries to run the buy-ins from 15 down to 10 so the guys who enroled to play in the last one - we should be good to go this time.

UPDATE: Following the success of the series so far and the feedback from players how much you like Titan we have sorted out The TITAN SERIES II which will start soon after this series. The series will probably played over a month so several games in a week.

Thanks Bob. I was able to get into the buy-in event and it was a great event. There were a lot of good players and I had a good time. It sure didn't hurt that I ended up winning the whole thing. I look forward to more events with 4kingpoker.

Is the scoring system posted anywhere? I'm hoping I'm not going to be too far behind even though I missed the first couple of events. Hopefully a 1st in the buy-in events? Hopefully the buy in events are woth more money to encourage people to come out for them.

in answer to a couple of questions -

yep you are right up there now in the points - as the buy-in count as double points

the top 10 scoring results and tonights final table results will be posted in the tournaments section (where all the upcoming events are)

and the full latest 25 on the leaderboard I will post / update in the forum - there should be a post entitled "titan series results" in the 4kingpoker news section which I update.

I'm really sorry I had to pull out of playing at the last minute - but I'd signed up to play in a $20+2 re-buy to win a $6000 entry to the British Poker Open at PokerHeaven earlier and was still in at the break... didn't fancy trying to play two games.

Was doing well but played one hand badly just before the end of the re-buy and so dropped 2500 down to 3500 but decided not to take the add-on (big mistake) anyway it was only 1st place for the ticket and no money prizes - everyone else seemed to take the add-on and I was hanging on from there on in. finished 23rd out of 70 about 15mins after your game started :-(

BTW PokerHeaven looks really good - at the mid / low level it is pacific poker type fishing

Looks like there is a new leader Hopefully I can hold onto it. I just downloaded and made a deposit into PokerHeaven. HOpefully I can have some luck there.
