Default How to increase your bankroll at Titan?

    Hi all,

I've just opened a new account at Titan poker. I'm not crazy about their lobby (in comparison to Pokerstars or Fulltilt), but I also see very little freerolls.

Does anyone have some good tips on how to invest my bankroll (50$)for the most result? Cashgames? SNG's? What stakes?

Ofcourse I'm looking for the "easy money"; where can I find the worst pokerplayers?

    Thanx,
    SuperSylvia

Default if you signed up via 4kingpoker

    hi

if you've signed up via 4kingpoker then we have a $1000 freeroll that you will be able to play in on Sunday 30th March at 7.05 EST ... that could be a good bankroll builder ;-)

I find I dont play the SnG's so well on iPoker sites - I think its more that I like a 1,500 start and find 1000 a bit tricky but I've got more used to them

Personally I like the cash games there as the players are relatively easy money

with a $50 bankroll the text book advise would be to play the very low micro stakes with $2.50 buy-in (ie. 5% of bankroll) but to be honest I find and its only personal that the 5/10 cent games are as low as I can play without it being totally random what they will play

IF you went with this approach then buy-in for $5 and try to get to only $7 or so then cash out and start at a fresh table

other than that with $50 your looking at sub $5 SNG's as only 10 buy-ins is a bit tight

on MTT's you could easily not hit a decent win in 20 games so thats a bit tricky too

hope thats a help - but not given you any conclusive advice - just suggestions and thoughts

    cheers scrawnybob

There are a lot of 12cents Sit&Go for free. You can win those easely. I think you can get a couple of bucks only from there.
Sit&Go are easy too ($5 or less reg. cost)

I see the 0.12$ freerolls, but I totally don't understand how to play them. If I try to register I get the message that those tournaments are restricted. I can't find anywhere what the criteria are to qualify for those freerolls. Maybe they're just for American people? ('cause I'm not....)

    Do you know Luzipher??

I didn't read it, but I think is because is only for people with at least one deposit.
    Sorry.

How can a tournament that requires you to pay 12c to enter be a freeroll?

Do you have any money in your Titan account?

I can register in them without any problems, and I'm not American - but I do have money in my Titan account.

    They're Sit&Go tournaments, not freerolls.

No, it's supposed to be a freeroll (no entry fee required) in which you can win 0,12$.

I do have money at my account, but it's not my own deposit; it's a bonus of 50$. So if a deposit of myself is required, that might be the reason why I can't play.

(Although I find it very strange that anyone has to make a deposit first to be able to play in a freeroll....often freerolls are played by people that don't have bankrolls yet and who are just at the stage of playing play money tables......)

But oh well, I guess Titan is not my cup of tea with these puzzling restrictions.....

    Lightbulb Bonus?

First of all good luck on building a bankroll on titan,
It's not a bad site and it offers allot of games.

But i do wonder where did you get that 50 $ bonus free ?
Was it because you signed up by the link of 4kingpoker ?

    Anywayz :

    For 50 $ ,
    Cash game :

    I suggest the 0.05$ 0.10$ No limit with a 8 $ buy in.
    Or the 0.10$ 0.25$ pot limit with a 15 $ buy in.

    Sng:

    I recommend : 8x the 6.25 $ with 45 people . ( * )
    Or you can do multiple 20 x for 2.5 $ . With 18 people .

    Tournaments :

Not good , unless your going for big field, good roi . and buy in for 12 $.

Yes I see them if I don't use the REGISTERING filter which I always apply, dozens of them which have finished and a few still in progress. Free Cash Sit'n'go. Seems like they fill up really, really quickly as somebody else here suggested. I have the same problem with Titan $50 freerolls, too, they fill up before I have a chance to register.

I was confusing these with the SNGs that have a 12 cent buy-in, and prizes of about two dollars. Sorry.
