    Default Stix's Live Results

    Ok... so I now live near a casino and I'm going to be playing some live tournaments there as a result. I'm creating this thread to force myself to report on my results and therefore to reflect more completely upon them. I'll post after my first tournament... probablly within a week or so.

    Yesterday I played for my first time at a casino. It was pretty cool. I was so excited walking in it was kinda ridiculous, but when I got to sit down all my instincts started rolling back. I didn't sit for long, I just wanted to get a feeling for the table and how everything operates. I'm excited to go back and play a tourney or maybe have a couple of hours to kill at a cash table.

    Had another session. Was fun. I am learning the ins and outs and I have a better understanding of the kind of play and table image I need to make money on the low limit tables.

    Good luck in your live adventure. just 2 questions.
    Are those plastic things casino chips ? and Are you allowed to take photos at your cards in a casino? Boy, America has some soft rules..
    In Romania if you only try to take your phone out and answer they'll kick you out and beat the c*** out of you.

    Good luck at the casinos stix. All the places I've played live you couldn't talk on the phone but taking pics wasn't a problem they just said if you need to talk on it you must leave the table. And mo stop letting those mean bouncers pic on you.

    I played at Sheffield £10 rebuy. First hand 5 all-ins. 2nd hand 3 all-ins. i just sat back amazed. i didn't win but it was an eye opener.

    Played in my very first tournament there this morning. Was a 30+10, 2k guar.

    I placed 5th out of 101 players!

    Took down 198.
