Poker Face

Has anyone here ever "worked" on their poker face? I'm speaking to live players... if you work on your poker face and all you do is play online... you're weird. But do any of you have a very specific face you do in order to stay consistent? I actually do, but I wanna hear if anyone else does too. lol

I've played live, but only at home games,, usually a party, usually a bit tipsy..

Since my real games are online, I have to work on my "online poker face."

There is a reason for this madness. When I'm playing poker, I can Tilt either way.. by losing to a bad beat or by winning a Great hand. Even though no one sees my Poker Face, if I allow it to change because I have good cards, bad cards.. whatever, it can affect my play.

Sometimes, if I allow myself to start frowning because of a bad beat, before I know it, I'm in a bad mood and out of the game. Same for having a great hand and getting over-excited, whooping it up. Soon I'm whooping myself right the heck out of the game because my face isn't back in the game.

lol... ok you hit a good point. There have been many studies that gave evidence to say that your mood is affected by your facial expression. Basically stating that the more you smile the happier you'll literally be. So this goes to prove your point is quite valid and logical. I'm sorry for labeling you weird. Maybe some people could learn from you.

Love those devil eyebrows on Dwan. He,s saying are you seriously raising me ?? He makes some of the funniest facial expressions. Facial expressions are useful in Reverse stragedies by the best actors and cannot really be trusted imo.
