Poker Room Etiquette AND YALL WOULD GET RICH
What a round today.
WHEN IS A PROPER TIME TO LEAVE A TABLE WITHOUT GETTING A BAD REPUTATION - Just 4k unbelievable, with 19 minutes I up almost $40. My first 3 hands out of the gate 10 10 FLOP NOTHING (FOLD) 2nd hand Q Q (RAISE PREFLOP $2) hit nothing FLOD - 3rd HAND AA (no preflop raise) HIT ACE on flop and get 2 buyers all the way to river for good money and the ACES paid nicely, 3 hands later I take down another nice pot with lots of buyers with a straight.
OK THIS IS 19 minutes in. HOW LONG MUST I STAY before I can get up and leave.

NOW THE BLEEDING BEINGS
FIrst Im seat #9 and I have the 72 year lady beside me and LISTEN TO THIS FOR HER POKER HELP
1) POKER IS ALL LUCK THERE IS NO SKILL TO IT
2) YOU ALWAYS PAY TO SEE THE NEXT 3 CARDS
3) YOU KEEP RAISING AND RAISING IF YOU HAVE LOWEST PAIR ON THE BOARD
and on and on. THIS LADY WAS IN MY EAR NON-STOP EVERY HAND. SHE lucked into one or two hands but she was throwing chips in left and right and left and right and then to add even more, HE PROBABLY HAS ME but ILL BET.
THERE WAS NO RANGE LIMIT AT THIS TABLE - OK IF THE WHOLE TABLE DID THIS GOOD FOR ME, NOPE 3 real goodplayers 3 pretty good and me and this lady.
SO once I saw the range this lady was playing (NOW EVERYONE REMEMBER I WENT IN TODAY WITH A VERY CONCIOUS DECISION THAT I WAS GONNA PLAY POKER THE RIGHT WAY THE SOLID WAY ) but once this woman kept icing me out every time Id want to make a bet I had to turn SUPER TIGHT because I realized at the winning hands I saw at this table was ULTRA LOOSE. Noboby in any position was playing properly they were just playing to the wind. THE GOOD PLAYER (NOW LISTEN BOARD FOLKS CASUE YA'LL ARE GOOD ) who didnt mind to keep running to the rivers were ripping it up. I might have done better if I bet more, but I wasnt gonna losen my standards
ANOTHER PROBLEM THe womens boyfriend of 30 years was at the table sitting across in seat 3 which also brough a major collusion problem but not that there was but both of them would really start putting up the bets when those 2 were in the pot with person (so the old lady act may have just been an act)
WOULD YALL LIKE TO KNOW MORE ABOUT THIS LADY
1) HER BF of 30 years was at the table because she doesnt believe in commitment
2) SHe let me know she 4k'd him the first night
I asked if she played her often
3) Today were getting our TOWNCAR repaired so were killing time in the card room
ON AND ON AND ON and all this threw my game because Id play proper cards but when cards all came in low and bet starting coming in, I was like IM not getting my KQs trounced by a pair of 2's
SO NOW AFTER ALL THIS INFORMATION she kept telling me If Im not running with the big dogs I need to stay on the porch. I just agreed and was like GOD I gues Ill never be a big dog with your playing.

I think the table was wondering why I folded so much (FIRST BECAUSE I AINT PLAYING SHITE NO MORE) but I went out of my way since every saw this lady was talking me non- stop
I would make comments at the table, that their is so much poker knowledge at this table that I gotta soak it in because Im not sure what will hold up, (I think one guy caught the sarcasm but I said it very nicely and sincerly) later AND I WAS FOLDING ALOT (becasue after the last visit I have decided this is business, period) so after more of this woman talking my ear off , and then she would say you should of PLAYED THAT (OUT LOUD) I had a 75 which prompted me to say, I cant see why any one playing at this table aint playing higher levels because the play is very good here.
The lady got her and I Scolded cause she was duscssing her cards with me during live play. I wish I had recorder for the advice she was giving me to lose money. After being told I need to stay on the porch I had to tell her that some of us aint playing off million dollar retirment funds, (WHICH SHE LAUGHED and hit me ) (I REALLY GOT TO THINKING OF TRYING TO HUSTLE SOME CHIPS OFF OF HER, but decided not to) "Hey if you gave 5 chips let me see what I could do with it

OK ROB YOU PLAYED PERFECT AND IT WAS EVERYONES ELSE FAULT - NO NO NO NO NO
I really made conscious decison to check the board hard and make sure I wasnt being set into traps so I would place some inital bets but if the flop was nowhere near me I folded.
MY BIG MONEY MISTAKE TODAY- DONT LET 2 PAIRS BLIND YOU TO THE TRUTH
played KJs in late position, flop QJKo 4 5 GOT BET ON FLOP I should of realized this guy had a broadway but at the time with the looseness of the table I bet, TURN NO PROBLEMS - GOT RAISED $2 I called - RIVER GOT RAISED $2 again now this time I starting thinking man something aint right here. BUT I CALLED since I had seen people taking pots on one pair and I had top pair and another pair and was hoping for a boat on the river but I still thought I had the pot Lost about $10 BUT HEY AT LEAST I GOT TO TELL HIM TO FLIP OVER THE BROADWAY to which he responded turn over your 2 PAIRS (WHAT ???????????????????????????)
but that really the only big loser , the table got shorthanded at times costing me more blinds, A few lost bets to see a flop and the other bad hand but I dint lose too much
I had Q high flush when the woman bet me on the river, I wanted to show the table Im willing to take chances, SO I SAID I KNOW IM BEAT but Ill play to see it, so before she turned over, I asked her how high her flush was, SHe showed K I said you got me by one and told her good hand.
besides these hands though I was stuck getting my ear talked off
SO THE TOTAL TODAY WAS EVEN STEVEN - I walked in with $20 walked out with $20 probably would of walked with $50 if I left after 19 minutes but that kind of etiquette would come back to bite wouldnt it, SO I made the conscious decisiion to stay at least 2 hours and I stayed 3 and finally split. SO I playe d3 hours for Free
YOU GOOD PLAYERS WITH STOMACHES that dont mind some good flucation would probably make a fortune here on low limit tables but THIS WOMAN REALLY ICED MY GAME with the non stop talking, I FELT LIKE I WAS READING ONE OF MY POSTS

AH YES I did try to side bet her one time, SHE WAS SO EXCITED ABOUT her 2 4 and a 4 hit on the TURN (Keep in mind with a bunch of paint on the board) she told me a 4 would hit on the river and I said you wanna bet a chip, she was about to put the chip up and of course NO 4
NOW IS THIS GOOD PLAYING ON MY PART AND CRAZY ON ANOTHER PERSON PART OR VICE VERSA
I told ya 2nd hand QQ (bet $2) flop NOTHING I FOLD
LADY IN SEAT #5 goes into a betting war with another guy and she got smoked and you know what she was holding QQ ( I never told her I had her out but I almost fell out when she was in disbelief no Q's fell.
