Default Punta Cana Main Event ticket for sale( half price $500!!)

I have won a Seat to Punta Cana Main Event in the affiliate/forum FR tournament(4th place) on Sunday Oct. 17 at DSI poker($1100 value). Because the travel expense is not included in the ticket, I decided to sell it to anyone who's going to Punta Cana.

I have contacted to DSI poker customer service and confirmed that I can sell the buy-in to another player, but not redeemable for cash.

    It's $1000+100 buy-in, and I'm asking for $500 or best offer.

The event is held at punta cana, Dominican republic November 1oth -14th.

This is the website Punta Cana Poker Classic ! and you can also google it for more information.

It's a main event buy-in ticket only($1000+100). No other expenses included. That's the reason I decided not to go. You probably need extra $1000 for the flights and hotels, etc. But if you are going there anyway for vacations or living there or loving to play live event poker, I think this is a deal you can take.

Please email multiverse28@yahoo.com or reply this message if you are interested.

Punta Cana Poker Classic Excitement Builds: Flights Are Tough Find
    Oct 17 2010 - 7:29pm
One problem, flights are going fast. In fact, much of the flights going through Miami that week now require an overnight stay in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Prices were starting to go through the roof so we suggesting booking now.
Traveling through New York, Jetblue had a direct round trip for Tuesday November 9 through Monday November 15 for just $638 but that price was expected to be for a very limited time and might not last come Monday (October 18). A nonstop via Continental, by comparison, will cost almost $828.
There were a few flights left via Charlotte on USAir.
Through Las Vegas, you are looking at paying close to $1000 and up on these days round trip. Leave on the 8th you are looking at paying closer to $800.
Your best bet leaving from New York, Boston and other locales would likely be to leave on Monday

Here's some more info. about it (I'm checking it all out cuz it looks like it'd be a blast to go & play in it!!!).

Packages to it can be satellited into on DoylesRoom & they say the packages are worth $3,100 ($1,000 for travel + $1,000 for 4nights in the hotel).

The Punta Cana Poker Classic is a new no-limit hold’em event held in Punta Cana of the Dominican Republic just before the beginning of winter. The buy-in for the tournament is $1100, and it’s to be held at the five star Moon Palace Hotel from November 10 until November 14. This event also has a $100,000 guaranteed prize fund.

The Punta Cana Poker Classic will feature 45-minute levels and 15,000 in starting chips with blind starting at 25/50. The levels proceed from 25/50 to 50/100, 75/150, 100/200, 100/200 w/25 ante, 150/300 w/25 ante, 200/400 with 50/ante, and on upward by similar increments to 80k/160k with a 20k ante. This is a great structure that allows for a ton of post-flop play.
If the buy-ins don’t make the guarantee, then only the final table (the last 9 players left) will be “in the money”, with 35% going to first place. If there are 100 to 120 players in the event, the top 12 will get paid, and if there are 121 to 150 players in the event, the top 16 will get paid. Finally, if there are more than 150 players, the top 18 will get paid, and first place will receive 33% of the prize pool.
