If it were me, I'd donate the $16K before I'd sell my WSOP bracelet (if I won one, that is).

how does one ever retire from poker? maybe he should just quit playing high stakes poker! not a good move to sell your main event bracelet in my opinion (even if the $ goes to charity)

You all are on the right track with this one for sure.How do you sell your bracelet ? That would be like selling your Super Bowl ring or Kobe selling one of his 5 ( ooh how sweet that sounds ) NBA champ rings. NO NO NO, you put it away somewhere safe for the grandkids or something. The only reason to sell it would be to not lose your home or something equally huge.

Haha, yeah kinda funny story, I think it ended up selling 147k or so?? Kinda crazy, I'll bet there's a lot more to the story. If I had to guess I'd bet poker has caused him a lot of misery over the past couple years for whatever reason (obviously not monetary) and he's just ready to completely get out.
