Punta cana classic - discounted entry fee!!!

Hello everybody,

I took 3rd in the GGE Punta Cana tourney at dsiPoker and won a 1/2 package ($1650 entry only, no air, hotel , or expenses.) I will not be able to attend, but dsi says it's OK to sell as long as the buyer establishes an account with dsi and represents them in the tourney. I am offering the buy-in for a reduced price here and at other forums I belong to. Please make an offer, and I will select the final winner Monday, October 3, 2011.

From past tournament entries that I've won, they will probably give you hats, shirts, and other dsiPoker merchandise, and expect you to wear it during the tournament and/or on the final table. They may also meet with you prior to the tournament. Often poker sites have hospitality rooms and a welcome dinner before the tournament.

Why don't you go play in it?
I had considered playing that tournament... not really sure why I didn't (aside from hating the network that Dsi is on & knowing I'd never ever play on there anyother time after that tournament). Seemed like a great one-time shot though.

Did you have intentions of playing it before you chose to play it? Did you have a pre-existing account on Dsi before that tournament? (or did you make one just for that tourney?). Seems odd that you'd play it w/o actually going to play in the tournament?

Hope you're able to find a buyer (& cool of them to let you sell it to someone else.... most don't allow that sort of thing from my experience).

I already had an account at dsi due to a prior win on a GGE or OFC event. I forget which. I would have gone if I had won the full package, but can't financially handle the airfare and hotel expense.

The tournament was an amazing deal for $10. There were only 29 registered and you only had to finish 18th to win $20.
