The Great Dane Is Chip Leader Of The Main Event!!

Gus Hansen is currently the chip leader of the main event, I'm hoping it stay this way. One because he is a player in my fantasy WSOP team and I have money on him. But also if an 'established pro' wins the main event it may go some way to prooving to the doubters in te US that poker is not a luck game

Well shoooot - I was kind of hoping that George Costanza would take it down, but I believe he busted out yesterday, lol... Being I woman, I am rooting for Evelyn Ng - saw she was doing good! .. Who else is on your fantasy team?

when i checked marcel was out, some of the 'top and better known' players still in at the start of day 4 are Gus, Huck Seed, Robert Varkonyi,Willie Tran, Julian Gardner, Chad Brown, Thor Hansen, Scotty Nguyen, Carlos Mortensen (who is on a bit of a roll after win the WPT World Championship), Humberto Brenes and Mimi Tran. Also Spiderman Toby Maguire is still in there as well. Imagine the press if spiderman won the main event.

he hasnt won a WSOP bracelet yet but he is currently 2nd in the 2007 main event so he has every chance of winning the big one this year

altho not in my fantasy team he def would be my 2ncd choice out of those who are left. i'm really rooting for an estbalished player, or player who has had previous success to win to help convince the US congress that it is more of a skill game than they think and what better way then a previous main event champ winning it again!!

now that scotty is out my choice now is Lee Watkinson, not as much of a household name as Scotty or Gus, but he has one bracelet to his name after winning the $10,000 buy-in Omaha World Championship last year so he is my choice now. Also another good thing i noticed about the last players left is that a good number of them have previously cashed in main events or prelim events and circuit events!!
