Dealing with anger

How do you deal with people you don't like while at the table.
I've played with someone that I actually like off the felt, but I HATE him on the felt. Such a pain in the butt. Any suggestions for taking my emotions out of my play?

just consintrate on what u are doing and don't ever let the ur emotions get the best of you.

dont let your anger affect your play, youll only make mistakes and more anger

I think iamnocaveman gave great advice - never let it affect your play

if you tilt yourself or let other players tilt you

the only one losing out of it is you - keep your cool at all costs - or take a break

thats what i consider my worst problem while playing online, most of the time when somebody beats my aces all in preflop with some 8T off suit, that gives me a lot of trouble and some times i suddenly start to play really bad because i take it as a personal thing, which of course its not.

sometime the best option is to turn off the computer and start watching a a baketball match with some friends and beers.

Take it easy, take regular breaks. You have to realize that if the best hands in poker won every time, the game would be pointless.

I should take my own advice. I get seriously angry at the idiots who shouldn't even touch a deck of cards.
