which do u think is better?

playing poker online...or playing poker live?

personally i believe that playing poker online is much better than pplaying live. becasue when you play live it is so difficult to see what your opponent is doing in some cases. that sounds strange, i know. that is just how i see it. maybe u see it different.

I prefer online than live but I think that every year people playing online should at least play in one WSOP event for some experiences (Of course if you have no financial problems)

you guys are crazy. Live poker is just sooo much better in almost every way. the only credit i give to online play is that you are able to play MUCH more in any given amount of time.

now that florida has added no-limit live game I no longer play online. I play much better live, I can keep focused longer and can get a better read on the other players. Online they change and I miss the change so the loose player is no a player that only plays the nuts, when I finally notice it is too late and I am in a big hand with 2nd best

amen. online is okay, but i prefer that tactile sense you can only get from live play. we have a couple casinos here (buffalo) and you just cant beat the sights and sounds and watching your opponents.


online chips don't sound as good and avatars dont give any tells

I can rumble with either... but I like being able to sit with the opponent/s, so when i make 'feel' bets, i can actually feel it out...

Since i dont like to waste alot of money of poker anymore....i like to play online get more time for the money then in casinos....dont have to pay big blinds online

They both have pros and cons.

I like live because everyone around my area are total fish, easier to bluff (weird, eh?), can be easier to read.

I like online because of the speed of the game, and the low limits, variety of limits, you can play any time of the day, when you get a bad beat you can enter another tourny instantly, there's always someone to play, and they have sattelites into big events, and also freerolls. Keep in mind there's no casino in my area.
