“SOLVERDE SEASON 2007” CIRCUIT

Solverde launched in January 2007 the “Solverde Season 2007”, the Texas Hold’em No Limit national poker circuit, a variant which consists of community cards and blind bets – no limit -, at tables with 10 players, ranked by the system of elimination.

The circuit consists of monthly tournaments and a main event that will decide the winner of the 2007 tournament. It will be held at the casinos in Espinho and Vilamoura (see calendar below). Satellite qualifying tournaments are also programmed and the “Texas Turbo No Limit Solverde Tournament”, matches for the participants that have been eliminated on the first days of the tournament and, thus allowing up to a maximum of 100 players to participate.

It was introduced in Portugal for the first time by the Espinho Casino, in October 2006. This variant of poker is already a phenomenon of popularity, considering the high number of participants in each edition – more than two hundred – in less than 24 hours the number registrations available were all taken up.

To guarantee the best conditions for the national and foreign participants, Solverde has obtained the most modern poker equipment available in the market, namely poker tables and chips from the well-known brand, Bourgogne et Grasset, and has also reinforced significantly the number of dealers.

Where are them on portugal ?? I think these are relly grate tournaments, the format is great.

this tournaments have been going for a all year now, in cooperation with another poker site refered but that is restricted to national( Portuguese) players. several freerolls are done and in each one, top 1 or 2 go for free, buy ins are normally 300EU, about 436 in dollars, but takes several days due to the structure and the prizes are great, very good players can be found there, if u have the financial power i advice u to take a shot, althogh it can become expensive if u fly from out of europe, but hey 75K euros is about 109155 US dollars so it can be profitable also...
