Bar poker

Bar poker, with the foul language, "adult" topics, drunkenness, arguments etc.,etc., is something I avoid these days. These things offend my Christian sensibilites.
So did my church poker fund-raiser tournament...the worst behaviour at a tourney I have ever seen.....sad.
Should have gone to the crummy bar instead.

On topic, you have to be 19 here to enter bars. I am only 18. I can't wait until I can go to some live bar games.

I run a pub poker league in the UK. We have never had any problems and everyone loves it. Obviously there are going to be people around who do not behave themselves which is disappointing but we have never actually heard of anyone coming to blows. We have run approximately 4000 nights without incident.

The whole idea of pub poker is that it is meant to be a bit of fun and has a large sociable element to it and if you can win some big prizes then all the better.

Sit back and be patient, and strike when I see weaknesses. Makes for good practice anyways.

I play at a bar once and a while never won but took 2nd and third a few times. Its always fun and behavoir isn't that bad uassly a good time fun poker.
